President and founder of Good Health Industries, Matthew Good became a Registered/Licensed Dietitian in 2004 following a wealth of undergraduate and graduate studies at Youngstown State University and the University of Akron respectively, studying Nutrition and Dietetics with a concentration in Human Psychology. However, he would attest that his masterful skills and approach to weight loss might have been less to do with academic experience, and more to do with his own personal experience.

Admittedly battling a minor weight problem throughout his life, Matthew met the manifestation of his worst nightmare as his college years began, uncontrollably witnessing his weight spiral out of control, reaching at its peak the mid-300 pound range. Following countless attempts to regain control of his weight, he frustratedly succumbed to the inevitable fact that the weight loss products and services available to him offered nothing more than false hope and empty promises. The few legitimate alternatives were, in his opinion, tarnished by their own pessimistic preaching of “slow and steady” and “moderation is key.” With well over 100 pounds to lose, “slow” and “moderate” were unwelcomed approaches.

It was at this moment that Matthew dedicated his life to “all things weight loss,” determined to decipher the hidden secrets of the human body and mind that would allow for safe and effective weight loss with immediate results. Following graduation with a Masters of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, he followed with successful completion of his internship at the prestigious Family Health Council (now known as Adagio Health), in Pittsburgh. Or more interest, by this point Matthew had also been able to lose more than 150 lbs. in this short span of time. He maintains a healthy weight to this day.

Matthew stays abreast of the ever-changing knowledge base of nutrition and weight loss, acting as an esteemed member of the faculty at Youngstown State University and Butler County Community College. He has been featured in various local media outlets over the years, renowned for his weight loss expertise.

Matthew has also gone on to publish the #1 downloaded weight loss and fitness book on Amazon’s Kindle platform in May 2013, Zero Resistance Weight Loss: How to Lose Weight Naturally and Fast. Written from his heart and soul, this book details the experiences of a former morbidly obese person who has been able to decode the little known secrets of successful weight loss, recounting the step-by-step processes necessary to build and maintain a healthy body that is comfortable to live a life in.
